Inspired by the moon and all its cosmic powers, Tiffany Young returns with the dazzling digital single “Magnetic Moon”. A fusion of pop and disco sound, the Girls Generation member experiments with her sound and visuals for this release.
Since leaving SM, she has turned her energy towards the US and brought another pop digital single entirely in English to further mark her name on an international scale. Her last comeback in February this year was with EP “Lips on Lips”, which entered number 9 on the Billboard Heatseekers album charts, setting her on a healthy start in a wider stage.
“Magnetic Moon” is a mid-tempo, electro meets disco track with a modern pop essence to it. Tiffany spoke on how she is constantly inspired by the moon and the stars and wanted to capture that in her latest track. Looking closely at the MV, it comprises of what feels like an endless number of sets, looks, and interpretation of the moon, and of course, we are not complaining!

Tiffany Young has remade her song “Runaway” from her Lips on Lips EP, which was released in February. The pop star, who got her start in the K-pop world as a member of Girls’ Generation, released a video for the Korean remix of the originally English song (May 31).
The remix of “Runaway” features both English and Korean lyrics, the latter of which were written by fellow Girls’ Generation member Choi Sooyoung. Like the original, the new version features the voice of Babyface, who co-wrote the song, but adds piano accompaniment from Chloe Flower, who rose to prominence after performing with Cardi B at the Grammys earlier this year.

The moment the clock struck midnight on the East Coast on Valentine’s Day, Tiffany Young dropped her new song. A sweet, bubbly electro-pop tune, “Lips on Lips” is a modern day anthem for the day of love.
Co-written by the singer, who rose to prominence as part of K-pop group Girls’ Generation and recently shifted her attention Stateside, the song is inspired by Young’s “focus on romance and the sweet and special intimate moment in a kiss,” according to a statement.
“And when the feeling is right/ You can tell by my eyes/ No, these lips they don’t lie/ These lips on lips they go like this,” sings Tiffany Young airily before a beat drop and Auto-Tuned chants bolster the titular refrain.
Satica and Kev Nish of the Far East Movement co-wrote the song, while 9AM produced.
With a catchy, trop rhythm and thumping bass bolstering Young’s captivating vocals, “Lips on Lips” is the lead track off of the singer’s upcoming EP of the same name. Lips on Lips is set to be released on Feb. 22, and precedes her upcoming North American mini showcase tour, which is sold-out.
According to Apple Music, Young’s album will feature four songs, including January’s “Born Again” and “Runaway,” which features Babyface.
“Lips on Lips” is currently available on digital music platforms.

Tiffany Young has been a polished pop star since she made her debut with K-pop supergroup Girls’ Generation at the age of 17. Now, more than a decade later, 29-year-old Young is shedding the facade and coming clean with “Born Again,” her self-reflective new single.
“I used to feel so hollow, shallow, vacant,” Young croons intimately on the track, which she co-wrote. “When you’re around you closin’ all these spaces.”
“Born Again” doesn’t just mark a departure from her bubbly K-pop persona; the song is a sweeping confessional — from Young, to her fans — but more importantly, it’s a chance for Young to be honest to herself. “There has always been a darkness and struggle,” she said in a statement, “and it’s only now that I get to talk about it openly.”
“Born Again” is the lead single off her forthcoming five-song EP, Lips On Lips, out February 22.
