Be the Cowboy is the fifth studio album by Japanese-American indie rock musician Mitski, released on August 17, 2018, through Dead Oceans. The album serves as the follow-up to her critically acclaimed 2016 album, Puberty 2. The lead single of the album, “Geyser”, was released on May 14, 2018, along with the album announcement.
