A few weeks ago we brought you all the news on the 20th anniversary of Koda Kumi : the “KODA KUMI 20th ANNIVERSARY TOUR 2020 MY NAME IS …”, the new song and the new logo.

Yesterday, July 30, the official site gave another good news: Koda Kumi will release a new album entitled ” MY NAME IS … “. It will be released on 11 September exclusively for the official fanclub. We remind you that the tour will start the next day, that is September 12th.

The available edition will be a limited CD + DVD + GOODS: the CD will contain 21 tracks in all, including ” pouf ” and two unreleased songs; on the DVD you will find the “LIVE Best Selection” with the comments of Koda Kumi; GOODS consist of a t-shirt, a booklet and a sticker.

EXILE ATSUSHI × Kumi Koda – Osaka Tokyo (Digital Single)

EXILE ATSUSHI and Koda Kumi’s collaboration song “Osaka Tokyo” was released digitally on July 28.

“Osaka Tokyo” will also be included in ATSUSHI’s fourth solo album “40 ~forty~” to drop on November 4. It’s described as an energetic dance number about the feelings of a man and woman as their feelings get stronger and they are unable to see each other.

Last November, the two co-starred for the first time in 13 years at ATSUSHI’s solo live ‘EXILE ATSUSHI SPECIAL NIGHT IN OKINAWA’ and performed this song for the first time.

Koda Kumi has announced the release of her first digital single to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her career.

The single is called ” puff ” and was released on June 26th. The song is described as a light and “cute” pop / dance track, in typical Koda Kumi style.

The song was created on the basis of the series of short videos “How To Dance” that the singer shared during the lockdown period ; “Puff” is another perfect track for exercising at home.

re(CORD) is the 16th studio album released by Koda Kumi. The song “Livin’ La Vida Loca” is a cover of the song with the same name released in 1999 by Ricky Martin; “GOLDFINGER 2019” is a Japanese cover of “Livin’ La Vida Loca”, released by Go Hiromi back in 1999; “STRIP” was used as theme song for the drama Rika (リカ).
