Music of the Spheres is the ninth studio album by British rock band Coldplay, released on 15 October 2021 by Parlophone in the United Kingdom and Atlantic Records in the United States. The album was produced by Max Martin, who is a new producer to the band’s discography. It features guest appearances from Selena Gomez, We Are King, Jacob Collier and BTS. It also features contributions from electronic producer Jon Hopkins.

A space-themed concept album, Music of the Spheres is set in a fictional planetary system called The Spheres, which contains nine planets, three natural satellites, a star and a nebula, each of which corresponds to a certain song. According to lead singer Chris Martin, its concept and themes were inspired by the Star Wars film franchise, which made him wonder what other artists could be like across the universe.

Music of the Spheres received mixed reviews from critics, some of whom criticized the album’s overtly pop-oriented style.

Everyday Life is the eighth studio album by Coldplay, released on 22 November 2019. It is a double album, with the first half titled Sunrise and the other Sunset.

“Orphans” and “Arabesque” were released as the album’s lead singles on 24 October 2019 on the Annie Mac show on BBC Radio 1. “Everyday Life” was released as the second single on 3 November 2019. “Daddy” and “Champion of the World” were released as the album’s fourth and fifth singles on 20 November 2019.

A Head Full of Dreams is the seventh studio album by British rock band Coldplay. It was released on 4 December 2015 byParlophone and Atlantic Records. It is the second album by the band in North America under Atlantic, after Coldplay were transferred from Capitol Records America in 2013.

For various songs on the album, Coldplay collaborated with Beyoncé, Noel Gallagher, Tove Lo, Khatia Buniatishvili and Merry Clayton. The album was produced by Rik Simpson and Stargate.  Coldplay have also revealed that the album features a sample of the U.S. President Barack Obama singing “Amazing Grace” at Clementa C. Pinckney’s funeral on the track “Kaleidoscope”.

The first single to promote the album, “Adventure of a Lifetime”, was released on 6 November 2015.

NME ranked it the 35th-best album of 2015.
