Where do you get the strength to survive crises? How do you keep your laugh when life is losing your sense of humor? If you ask Patricia Kelly the answer comes without the slightest hesitation: »My source of strength is love. Those of my husband, my children, my large family; my faith and my songs. “

And it is precisely from this inexhaustible resource that the Irish-American singer, musician and songwriter, who enjoyed great success with her family band The Kelly Family in the 1990s, sings on the title track for her new album “Unbreakable”, which she gave to her husband Dennis dedicates: »We have been together for 22 years and after two years we got married in church. Our love has outlasted the hard strokes of fate of our lives and we have held each other in good, but also in dark times. My husband is like a tree with strong roots and without him I might not have been able to cope with the turbulence and, above all, the loss of important people around me. I don’t see myself as a particularly strong woman – I’m a fighter, yes, but there were moments when I didn’t know what to do and then my husband was always there, “said Patricia in a statement.

Eleven more songs are waiting for “Unbreakable”, two of which the singer wrote together with her son Iggi: “Doll” and “Your Love”. Otherwise, she was supported in songwriting by international co-authors, including her good friend Jonas Myrin (including Barbra Streisand, Andrea Bocelli, Lauren Daigle), Sky Adams (including Kylie Minogue) and the British singer-songwriter Amber van Day.

The result is the fearless pop album by an artist who knows what she wants. Patricia Kelly wrote in a press release: “As the main producer of› Unbreakable ‹, I always had an eye on merging old-school demands with fresh, modern sound. Working with many young artists also resulted in a mixture in which I was able to develop myself further and at the same time had a lot of fun. I think that with this album I actually grew up a bit. “

“Unbreakable” is the fifth solo album by Patricia Kelly, the successor to “One More Year” from 2020. It will be released on January 14th as a CD, as a limited LP and as a limited fan box with the new album on CD, a poster, exclusive postcards, an Eau de Parfum “Exclusive Frangrance by Patricia Kelly” (30 ml) and a cosmetic bag. However, all formats can already be presented.
