Duets is the fourth concept mini-album released by Sakamoto Maaya. As the title implies, the mini-album features duets sung by Sakamoto and an accompanying artist.
Maaya Sakamoto’s fourth concept album is her second 25th anniversary album, and her first duet album! Twenty-five years ago, Maaya Sakamoto performed with Hiroki Wada, who was the outro theme artist for the anime “Escaflowne in the Sky,” for which her debut single “Yakusoku wa Nai” was the opening theme. The duet artists included Yoshio Inoue, Tomomi Uchimura (la la larks), Kyoko Koizumi, with seven artists. In addition to the lyrics provided by the duet artists, there will also be songs written by Maaya Sakamoto herself, as well as by TENDRE, Shoko Suzuki, Ryo Eguchi, and Yuho Iwasato.
