Metamorphosis is the seventh studio album of the singer Italian Noemi , published on 5 March 2021.
The album consists of 11 songs and contains the song presented at the Sanremo 2021 Festival , Glicine . The artist explains that the title of the album is linked to a profound renewal that led her to explore different sounds.
For the first time, Noemi ventured into a very autobiographical album (although she does not figure directly among the authors of the lyrics) made by working closely with the authors, composers and producers from whom she decided to be supported.
The songs were born from the sharing of the experiences and emotions that Noemi lived in this phase of her life: from the deep crisis to the metamorphosis, in fact. A radical and necessary change that arises from the need to evolve, to regain control over her life and rediscover the passion for herself and music.
He worked with the Dorado Inc. producer team made up of Dario Faini (Dardust), a close collaborator of many musicians including Mahmood , the Muut (Francesco Fugazza and Marcello Grilli), all three authors of most of the music, as well as by Andrea Rigonat (guitarist and husband of Elisa ); the lyrics are often the work of lyricists and songwriters such as Ginevra and Arashi (Riccardo Schiara). The pieces of Metamorphosis are also signed by Franco126 , Neffa , Federica Abbate , Roberto Casalino , Davide Simonetta (d.whale), Tattroli (collective pseudonym to which he belongsMahmood ) and Daniele Magro. The last track, Musa , is homonymous in the title of the song contained in RossoNoemi .
The album cover depicts a blurry, black and white close-up of the artist and in this regard Noemi says: «This is the slide of the moment when everything was clearer to me. It took me some time. Time spent to understand what my new direction was, what my new colors were ».
