NYC-based retro pop duo, Fly By Midnight, gear up to release their sophomore record titled “Happy About Everything Else…” ( out November 22nd). Following a year of sold out shows in NY/LA alongside Loote and festival appearances at Firefly & Panorama, the guys have continued to build a dedicated following. Previous singles such as “Lovely” & “You Belong” both premiered at #1 on Apple Music’s Pop Hot Tracks, as well as Spotify’s New Music Friday US, UK, Japan & Sweden.
Featuring singles such as “Lovely (feat. Betty Who)” that MTV News recently described as “soft and serene, wise and warm, the soundtrack to lightly placing your lips on a lover’s forehead,” the album is as an emotional rollercoaster taking listeners on what the guys describe as “a coastal journey of highs & lows.” Written throughout a year of constant traveling from NY to LA, Fly By Midnight continues to evolve their sound and narrative. Fly By Midnight is comprised of songwriter Justin Bryte & producer/songwriter Slavo. Coming off an unexpected writing/producing streak for other artist releases such as Julie Bergan (Warner Norway) Jake Miller (Sony RED), VINCINT & VHS Collection, as well as upcoming releases for R3HAB, Sofia Carson & Shawn Hook, the duo has continued to generate independent buzz.
