Portals is the debut full length album from Nashville singer-songwriter Fleurie, the album was released on digital retailers and streaming services on August 17, 2018.
In 2017, two promotional singles were released, “Hurricane” (August 3) and “Take Me With You” (October 21) however the tracks were omitted from the album. The lead single, “Constellate”, was released on streaming services on May 11, 2018. A second single, “Chasing Stars”, followed on June 22.
Containing 11 tracks, the album was executive produced by Fleurie with production handled by Justin Amundrud, Tofer Brown, Jeremy Lutito and Stephen Schmuldt.

Utah’s Madilyn Paige is an earnest, lyrical singer/songwriter best known for appearing as a contestant on the sixth season of the NBC’s The Voice. Born in 1997 in Provo, Utah, Paige began singing at a young age. Only 16 when she auditioned for The Voice in 2014, she was eventually picked for coach Blake Shelton’s team. Paige was ultimately eliminated in the playoff round. After leaving the show, she continued to build her fan base via original and cover song videos posted online. In 2015, she released her debut self-titled EP featuring the single “Irreplaceable.”
Now she’s back with music of her own, a seven-song album called “Anymore” that landed Friday.

Last month, BENI announced that she will release one digital single a month for the next four months. Last month’s release was “Chasin’”, a collaboration with IO of KANDYTOWN. On August 29, BENI release this month’s digital single, “PULLBACK.” The song is a collaboration with Meiyu SUNNY BOY and sees BENI continuing in the R&B direction she returned to with “Chasin’.”

Former Postm3n member Jin Lin writes Letters to his loved ones in his new album. The singer changed his artist name to Jin Jin in order to commemorate his father who passed away of cancer in 2018. Written by Jin Jin, R&B track “What to Do” expresses the hopeless thoughts he had while seeing his father in the hospital. Japanese band Sandclock’s guitarist Nagata Yoshiyuki composed the track “What to do” for the singer.

DNA is the fifteenth studio album released by Japanese artist Koda Kumi, released on August 22, 2018. The album was released six months after her previous studio album, AND, making it her second album of 2018. The album debuted at #2 on the Oricon Albums Charts, becoming her second consecutive album to not reach the number-one spot (AND charted at #6).
Unlike AND, which carried a fun and upbeat style, DNA was made to be darker and toned down. This was most prevalent by the album’s artwork, in which Kumi dons more muted attire.
The album was preluded by three singles: LIT, HUSH and Never Enough. However, the songs “LIT” and “Never Enough” were placed on the album AND, while “HUSH” was the only song placed on DNA.
