The Thrill of It All is the second studio album by English singer and songwriter Sam Smith. It was released on 3 November 2017 through Capitol Records.

“Too Good at Goodbyes” was released as the album’s lead single on 8 September 2017. It topped the UK Singles Chart and made the top five on the US Billboard Hot 100.

On 6 October 2017, Smith released “Pray”, a gospel-tinged ballad in collaboration with Timbaland, prompted by time spent in Iraq with the charity War Child as a promotional single from the album.  Another promotional single, “Burning”, was released on 27 October 2017.

Poucos meses depois de se casar com Diana e de viajar para o Quénia, Robin Cavendish contrai poliomielite, uma doença viral e infecciosa que lhe atinge o sistema nervoso central, provocando paralisia do pescoço para baixo. Numa recusa em encarar a doença como algo que o impedisse de viver, em 1962, quatro anos após o início da doença, Cavendish junta-se ao seu amigo Teddy Hall, um professor da Universidade de Oxford, para criar um protótipo de cadeira de rodas com respirador incorporado. Mais tarde, esse modelo será usado por milhões de pessoas com as mesmas dificuldades.

Com o passar dos anos, usando a sua própria experiência como exemplo, Robin Cavendish vai ajudar vários técnicos a desenvolver aparelhos destinados a melhorar a qualidade de vida de pessoas que, de outra forma, estariam confinadas a uma cama, completamente dependentes dos cuidados de profissionais.

Com argumento de William Nicholson, um drama biográfico que marca a estreia na realização do actor Andy Serkis (que se tornou conhecido pela personagem Gollum, em “O Senhor dos Anéis”). Com Jonathan Cavendish, o único filho de Robin e Diana Cavendish, na cadeira de produtor, a história de “Vive” é interpretada por Andrew Garfield, Claire Foy, Hugh Bonneville, Tom Hollander, Ed Speleers e Dean-Charles Chapman.

 Red Pill Blues is the sixth studio album by American pop rock band Maroon 5. It was released on November 3, 2017, by 222 and Interscope Records. This is the band’s first release to feature Sam Farrar as a studio member after becoming a touring member in 2012. The title of the album refers to the science fiction term of taking the red pill or the blue pill, which originated from the 1999 sci-fi film The Matrix.

The album was preceded by two commercial stand-alone releases. “Don’t Wanna Know”, featuring American rapper Kendrick Lamar, was released to digital retailers on October 11, 2016, and charted at No. 6 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and topped the Adult Top 40, Adult Contemporary, and Hot 100 Airplay charts. A music video for “Don’t Wanna Know” premiered on October 14 on The Today Show.

A second stand-alone single, “Cold”, featuring American rapper Future, was released on February 14, 2017, and charted at No. 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 5 on the Adult Top 40 chart. The music video for “Cold” premiered on February 15.

On August 30, 2017, the band released “What Lovers Do”, featuring American R&B singer SZA, as the lead single from the album. A lyric video was uploaded on September 15, 2017, while the music video for the song premiered on September 28.

“Help Me Out”, with American singer-songwriter Julia Michaels, was released on October 6, 2017, as an instant grat along with the pre-order of the álbum. Another song, titled “Whiskey”, featuring American rapper ASAP Rocky, was released to digital retailers on October 19, 2017. A third promotional single, “Wait”, was released on October 31.
