PUNKY is the ninth studio album released by Kimura Kaela. It’s title contains two meanings “to emit light naturally” and “punk-like.” The album was released in two editions: a limited CD+DVD edition and a regular CD edition. The LP was originally announced to be a five track mini-album back in July.[2] Prior the album Kimura released two digital singles: “BOX” was used as the tie-in song to Microsoft’s Surface Book and “Koiwazurai no Buta” which was used as a commercial theme for Kracie‘s Naive face wash. “Himawari” was the theme for the film Christmas Card, and was used as a digital pre-release.

With the release of PUNKY Kimura announced her next tour KAELA presents PUNKY TOUR 2016-2017, which will hates dates from October to March. The tour is divided into two legs: With STUDS TOUR supported by Kracie naive starting on October 18th, and DIAMOND TOUR starts up in January 2017.

Mimi Page is a self–produced singer–songwriter and composer born and raised in Los Angeles, California. A modern hybrid of Dream Pop and Trip–Hop, Page’s style blends beat driven piano–infused soundscapes with haunting ethereal vocals.

Page’s original music blends breathy, ethereal vocals with beat driven, atmospheric soundscapes. She attributes her ethereal sound to her heavy use of reverb, delay, and layering techniques in post production. Page’s primary instruments are the piano and synthesizer with production and beat creation in Logic Pro. Page cites the following artists as influences: Nine Inch Nails, Tori Amos, Radiohead, Thomas Newman, and Enya.

Her sophomore solo album “The Ethereal Blues” was release in 2015.
