Clare Maguire’s 2011 album ‘Light After Dark’ provided some true pop gems but it’s been a long break between albums.

What will Clare’s sophomore album ‘Strange Things Have Happened’ bring?

Clare’s powerhouse vocals were evident on her debut release and was something I really liked about her. She also created a bit of a different pop feel with her songs and thankfully both of these elements feature on her new album.

‘Stranger Things Have Happened’ is not as glossy of an affair as album one but its not a bad thing; Clare’s vocals come through in a more powerful way, with the rawness of her voice on display.
The British singer songwriter wrote most of the album at home on her piano and by doing so, she’s been able to highlight and champion the honesty of the songs.

It’s a love letter to her life; and it’s a beautiful one at that.
I continue to be a big fan of Clare’s work and I hope you give this album a spin and love it as much as I did.

CLC exhibits brand new music styles with the fourth mini-album Nu.Clear, which is a portmanteau combining the word “new” and the group’s full name “CrystaL Clear.” Created by renowned producer Shinsadong Tiger, the title track “No Oh Oh” depicts the shyness of girls in love. The song’s dance choreography was designed by Yama & Hotchicks Entertainment led by renowned choreographer Bae Yoon Jung, who was one of the trainers in the reality show Produce 101.

Following on from her immensely amazing recent singles ‘Paper Thin‘ and ‘Hurts So Good‘, Norway’s Astrid S released her self titled debut EP! Featuring those two singles, plus three new songs, it’s an always welcome reminder that she really is one of the best new popstars in the world right now. Best new song? Blatantly ‘Jump’. It’s another 10-out-of-10 stunner from her. Our only gripe with the EP being the fact that they’ve left off previous singles ‘Hyde‘ and ‘2am‘. But then at what point does an EP become an album. And so here we are. The whole EP is up on her YouTube channel too, if you ain’t gotten yourself Spotify yet.
