You might recall last summer we introduced you to Linnea Dam from Denmark, who had just released her debut single ‘Tomme Ord‘. She’s back now with her first EP – the self titled ‘Linnea’. It’s four more sublime synthpop tracks of the same quality we were met with when we discovered ‘Tomme Ord’. Fans of Linnea’s fellow Dane – Medina – will find a lot to love on this EP. Linnea has worked with the same producers who have been behind some of Medina’s most loved hits. ‘Så Dig Gå’ is the other big highlight of the package.

Swedish artist Mikaela Coco has this week released her debut EP ‘Words’. It’s a five track affair, featuring her previous single ‘Used To Know’, and new single ‘Words’. Bizarrely though, the singles aren’t even the best parts! Whilst both are fab, it’s the three new tracks that we’ve fallen for the hardest. The big r&b ballad ‘Weightless’, the sassy ‘Everything You Do’, and the 90s flavoured American chart hit waiting to happen ‘Nothin At All’. The sum of all five songs works even better than any of the tracks on their own though. It’s a really well packaged EP in that the sound and the style are so consistent throughout. A brilliant body of work that we’re going to be coming back to for some time to come.
